DancingGoats.com is the home of exceptional single origin coffees and blends from Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters. We have been handcrafting the finest coffees from around the globe since 1986 and our standards are among the 
highest in the specialty coffee industry. We put immense effort into sourcing and roasting fresh beans for coffee and espresso enthusiasts that crave quality and consistency and seek out special, limited edition coffees for fans of unique complexity of flavorand aroma. Our standards of quality also extend to the way we do business and we strive to meet the challenge of sustainability with every decision we make. We offer Certified Organic, Fair Trade Certified and Bird-Friendly, Shade Grown coffees and continuously work to lighten our environmental footprint through the purchase of 100% renewable energy.
The Legend of the Dancing Goats®
Coffee was first discovered in what is now called Ethiopia. According to legend, the area's remote highlands were home to a goatherd named Kaldi. One day he noticed his goats dancing and prancing after eating the small, red fruit of a nearby shrub. Not wishing to be left out of the fun, Kaldi ate the coffee cherries and soon he was dancing with his goats!
Fair Trade
Fair Trade certification guarantees that farmers from participating cooperatives receive a fair price for their coffee, have suitable working conditions, take part in a democratic decision-making process and maintain high standards of agricultural stewardship. Fair Trade helps farmers understand and access international markets and engage in community development.
